That's done...more to do.

So the photoshoot that we've been anticipating for is finally over. Wasn't that bad after all. Lot of the poses which I thought I would never do I did hah! More importantly is that we had fun! There were suppose to be 5 costumes for the indoor shoot but we decided to scrap off the Japanese costumes cause we figured we don't really want/need/like the idea or even how the pic will turn out to be.
Hair and make up took up the longest time. Poor Gabe was a lil bored so he had to kill his time reading through magazines and magazines. Went through 5 costumes and many m
any poses. We always almost burst into laughter when the photographer goes " look each other, look each other, smile some more smile some more" but of cause we didn't coz that would appear to be rude.
So by the time we were done with indoor it was 4 in the noon! By the time we reached our outdoor destination, it was about 430. We went to the Peranakan Baba Nyonya house at church street. Interesting place I would say and thanks to Gabes mom who knows the owner, we didn't have to pay RM 50 to use that place for the photoshoot. Was there for an hour, absolutely love the setting of the place. Hope
fully the pics will turn out well. *fingers crossed*. Once we were done, headed to Gabe parents antique shop in Penang road. We figured we wanted some shots there for memory sake. Turns out, the photographer likes the place although it's a lil' too narrow and limited space to take a nice shot but I'm sure he did a good job with whatever space he had. By the time we were done, we headed to our lastttt destination, the beach behind paradise. We were both dead tired by then but still had to pinch ourselves to stay awake and smillleeee. Kept reminding ourselves that these shoot is the most expensive part of our wedding package, so die die also must make it worth. And because it was the beach, and our last few shots, we went allll out. So that's when all the jumping, running, carrying took place hahahahaha and I would alllways laugh at ppl doing those kinda things.......
It was a indeed a tiring but yes fun and full of memories. I don't think I regret a single bit doing it. Can't wait to go select the pics in a week time! wheee. Meantime here are so
me "illegal" shots. At Gabes parents shop :) While waiting for the photographer.... after a whole day shoot. (Because of the make up, I think Gabes look a lil like some guy from a Chinese boy band. kakaka. My very own F4! hah! )

We're late

Ok...so this blog is a lil' too late. Have been contemplating whether to start a blog since my very own blog(euniceo.tabulas) died many months back. But everyone has been telling me to start one just for the wedding. (or rather to journal down every single event or preparation towards our big day) for memory sake.

So where should we start?:) As most of you all would have already know, Mr Ch'ng proposed last Dec when we were in KL for my work/holiday trip on the Eye on Malaysia :) Was I taken by surprise? Yes and no. I think as much as a girl can guess that it's going to happen, still when it does, it's still as exciting. Okay, so this was many months back. We've done a quite a few things for the big day like getting a hotel to throw our dinner reception, book the church for the morning ceremony, booked the bridal house, started our marriage counseling sessions with Uncle Heok Hooi and Aunty Phaik Lean etc.

There are a few more things to be done like, printing of our invitation card, confirming the guest list once again ( that alone is a BIG headache).

But more excitingly, we will be taking our pre- wedding shots. Excited but yet I'm dreading having to sit on the chair for hours to get my hair and make up done. On my own, I got my nails done!:) Its really pretty, my first time doing a manicure HAH! Pray for a good weather! I'll update more on the shoot very soon!
