4 months behind?

So I'm finally married!!! WEEeeee! Very common question asked now is " Sohow'sitlike??????". Just when I thought I'm done answering "How'syourweddingpreparationcomingalong????". Well life's been good, great, amazing. I love being married. Being able to bake together, cook and clean together and not needing to say GOOD night and Goodbye and worry if he's reached home safely :)
There have been arguments (like Gosh WHY DO YOU CHANGE SO MANY TIMES A DAY???)but hey life's not a bed of roses. It's all about working towards understanding each other more.

So since I'm like 4 months behind since the last I blogged, I'll just do a fast re-cap along (check out the pics on FB :P). Wedding was awesome! I had a blast. I was super worked up that day though but thank God for great friends! Honeymoon was a blast too! 5 days in Phuket was amazing. Missing the motorcycle rides ard phuket with Gabe, watching the famous Simon cabaret show, having YUMMY THAI FOOD and my thai msg:(

Staying with my in laws was a scary thought at first (who wouldn't be :P) but it turned out to be much much much more fun than I thought. (We're still moving out eventually kekeke.) Anyways
since I just started blogging again after 4 months, kinda lazy to write more kakaka. Looking forward to Langkawi this coming weekend with mein....woot woot!!!!! Cheap booze, tan in the sun yee haw! And OH (I'm so random) I baked today! For those who think I cannot bake, my yummy cookies will prove you wrong! :P

To my soon to be wife...

I once thought that the ideal age to get married was 25, but that was 4 years ago, hence it never materialised. When I turned 25, I thought, I should do it before I turn 30; it looks like I’m track this time. The truth is it’s not about how old you are, but who want to spend the rest of you life with. But of course there will be circumstances as you grow older, which I wont discuss in this entry, he he.

For me, it wasn’t love at first sight, it wasn’t *Crash!*Boom!*Bang!* the first day we met, but it was definitely the best darn thing that has ever happened to me since…since EVER! (except accepting Christ as my Lord and Saviour)

Loving you has been pure delight to me. Seeing you smile is all I ever hope for, and holding you in my arms brings great joy to me everyday. Some might call it lucky, but I call it God’s grace and blessings. I wouldn’t trade you for ALL the treasures on this earth, nor will I let you go under ANY circumstances.

As our wedding day draws nearer, I want to assure you that for the rest of your life, I will be there for you, to protect and guard you, to watch over you and keep you from harm’s way, to make you laugh and to cheer you up, to support you in times of need and to pull through together when times are bad, to argue for the better and never let the worst stumble us, to always look to God no matter what happens, to walk in his way all of our days, to provide you with the best, to enjoy every funny moments and joy that comes our way, to  appreciate each other, to having our own family, to the day we grow old and death do us part, I will be with you. This is my life commitment to you!

Please do not be afraid, for I know God is there for us. If He is with us, no one can be against us. He will fulfil every promise that he has made, not just the big ones, but also the small. We will rest assured that He has a plan for us. Though we charter into unknown territory, there will be a light guiding us through.

I love you, Eunice Ooi Tsu Lynn! :)

57 days and counting

Exactly 1 year ago, I was still wondering when Gabe was going to pop "THE QUESTION" and today one year from then, I'm about to GET HITCHED. If you ask me, I am kinda freaking out. No idea how this new journey will be like. What is it like to be a wife, a daughter in law? Ahhhh. Gabe says I'm scaring myself too much but I think I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself :D But I can rest assure that I have a God that has great plans for me and my husband to be AND a husband who will love me till death do us part :)

On a lighter note, last weekend was a blast!!! Had y 1st bacherlorette party in Singapore!!!  I have pics but you probably would have seen them all on my facebook so no need to post it here la :) Had fun with the girls and my favourite uncle and ah kim who hosted us. Thanks again :) So many ppl to thank! So greatful.

So as the date approaches, lots and lots of preparations to be done. I'm so glad Gabes finishing his last MBA paper today cause that will mean he can now fully concentrate on the WEDDING. Woot woot! He's been a great help. Trying to juggle with work, his studies, and the wedding. See, am I not marrying the right guy ;)

Grandma and aunties are busy shopping for my wedding. People tell me that their super excited to attend my wedding. ( I wish I was as excited. Seriously, I'm more excited for your wedding, Justine...lol) But I promise you guys, you'll have a good time :) It's going to be fun fun fun. Can't wait to see you all again!

Good heavens...2 months to go!

The title says it all....2 months to go!!! 2 bulan lagi!! *pant pant pant*
So what's new since the last entry...well the cards are ready!!! weee....won't say I like it but since we're so strict on our budget and people tend to throw wedding cards away anyways, so we decided to just stick to whatever the hotel provided. Saved us 400 bucks. Worth it very worth it. Only headache now is sending them out.
We made quite a fwe mistakes on some cards (HAHAHA, first timers) Should be enough to go ard. lol. Things like, should we put uncle? or Dr? Izzit Madam or Ms? Lalala...who would have thought writing a card could be such a hassle.

On the more interesting side, we've BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON....weeeee!!! Only for 3 days though. Everything's triple during that season (bummer) Had some hard time finding the hotel that we want as well although we were willing to pay 1k /night. So after we manage to book a room through this agent online (Agoda online) we finally got a garden villa for quite a good price. (They screwed up our bookings but something good came out of it, they gave the villa at a reasonable price. We didn't have to pay more than what we were promised earlier) PRAISE GOD! http://www.mangosteen-phuket.com/ :D

So I'm heading down south to SINGAPORE!!! this 24th. My first bacherlorette woot woot!!! Gonna have fun fun fun. Can't wait. Will update more. Then coming back to do some flower shoppng with ming for the church deco...wheee.

Stay tune! (that's if I update soon :P)

Oh so stressful

It's been stressful I have to admit! As the time draws closer, the level of stress increases. Lots of heated argument (we've been warned :) ) but all for the good.

Anyways I'm not in the mood of blogging anything much right now. Things are going according to plan. Only thing to worry about now would be decorating the church. (Oh God help)

I shall leave you guys with pics of our pre-wedding shoot taken back in June. It's finally out. YeAH!
Didn't post everything up on facebook...so here's wat's NOT on facebook :P

Not our favorite but oh well...for tradition sake. :)

Busy busy and 4 months to go!

Gosh, it's been hectic. From buying furniture to bed spread to king size quilt :) It's been fun nevertheless getting all ready for the BIG day. I look forward although I am starting to feel a lil panic attack * pant pant*.

So yay, we've got our wardrobe for half the amount we thought we would be paying and still get the same amount of space ( Yay more place for new clothes! hah!) I'm getting very excited to start filling it up with CLOTHES and more CLOTHES. Next on the list would be a LCD tv. kaka. Still waiting for a good buy and knowing Gabe ( always looking for reviews and specs and good bargain) this might take some time :P We've agreed that I'll be taking care of the bed spread and quilt cover and he'll take care of the TV.

Our ring got a lil delayed...apperently the guy told us that it's bad luck to make wedding bands during the 7th month. ( yea i know) So now it's delayed to another week. bummer.

So the bridal house told us that our pics are not ready BUT I found some of our pics on their website. Hmm...one point I was a lil upset that they kinda lied but on the other hand, I'm a lil proud that they actually used our pics HAHA.

Was going to post them all up on facebook but Gabe said don't spoil the fun so I posted only 4. But I figured not many knows about our blog here, so for those of you who does, here they are!

:) Love u all:)

2 wonderful years and many more to come :)

Was clearing Gabes luggage bag 2 days ago after his trip back form Bangkok and it suddenly crossed my mind so I stopped and immediately turned to him and said "oh my goodness, our 2 years anniversary was 2 days AGO!". We have both been so busy that weekend that we totally forgot about it. Lucky for him, I've forgotten about it as well... Hah.

It's been a 2 wonderful years together. We've both learned so much from each other and ABOUT each other. We've loved, argued, make peace, argue again, yada yada yada but it's been all good. I look forward to the many more years to come and our commitment to love and cherish one another till death do us part *HEH*

So I shall leave you all with some pics of us of the great times that we've had together and we're both looking forward to see YOU at our big day this Dec. For those who've helped in many ways, thank you. We love you guys dearly :)
